This was too good.
Dawn Staley has South Carolina back in the national championship for the second time in three years after beating NC State, 78–59, in the first semifinal game of the Final Four on Friday night in Cleveland.
Staley must have given quite a halftime speech to her team because South Carolina broke open a tight game by outscoring NC State, 29–6, in the third quarter.
Staley shared an awesome moment with one of her former players after the game when Aliyah Boston, who’s working with ESPN at the Final Four, conducted a postgame interview on the court. Instead of talking about the win, Staley immediately sang the praises of Boston and the opportunity the 2023 WNBA Rookie of the Year is getting with the sports network.

Dawn Staley making her moment not about her, but Aliyah Boston. When what brings you joy is making other people happy, everyone can see it. https://t.co/MdIXj8RqyN

The fact she subtly answered the question & went straight into praising Aliyah & her career. I have become a huge Dawn Staley fan this year. https://t.co/MI1llpKEAS

She is my favorite coach in any sport. If my daughter hooped I would want her to play for Dawn https://t.co/Fl2LA0WOGY
