Iowa honors Caitlin Clark with logo on Carver court where she sunk record-breaking 3-pointer
Caitlin Clark, whose stardom is in part built off her long 3-point shots from the half-court logo, now has a logo of her own on the court at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Clark broke Kelsey Plum’s NCAA women’s career scoring record Feb. 15 with a deep 3-pointer against Michigan, on her way to a career-high 49 points.
At Sunday’s home game against Illinois, a new decal commemorating Clark’s record-breaking 3-pointer was unveiled on the Hawkeyes’ home court, in the exact spot of that shot.
After scoring 24 points against Illinois, Clark now has 3,617 career points.
The Hawkeyes have two regular season games remaining before the Big Ten and NCAA tournaments β Wednesday, Feb. 28 at Minnesota and Sunday, March 3 at home against Ohio State.
