Caitlin Clark has still yet to pick up her first official WNBA win. The Indiana Fever came close on Wednesday night against the Seattle Storm but fell short, again, by a final score of 85-83. They fall to 0-5 on the season.
Clark delivered another impressive performance despite the team’s loss. She showcased her scoring ability by scoring 21 points while shooting 6 of 16. Additionally, she contributed seven rebounds and seven assists, highlighting her versatile skill set.
Clark also stood out with a plus/minus of +7, distinguishing herself as the only Fever starter to have a positive impact on the game.

After the match, Clark participated in a postgame interview and shared her thoughts on a pivotal jump-ball call in the closing moments of the final quarter, which ultimately led to their defeat. She used one word to describe the decision.
“I thought the jump-ball call was interesting, in front of our bench,” Clark said.
The quote was posted online to social media by Fever beat writer Matthew Byrne.
“Caitlin Clark: ‘I thought the jump-ball call was interesting, in front of our bench.’ Added that in that spot, refs probably have to decide one way or another.”

The Fever will seek their first win again on Friday, May 24, when they take on the Los Angeles Sparks.
