Breaking: Cameron Brink announced she will be entering the 2024 WNBA draft following her season with Stanford Women’s Basketball

Their flamboyant power forward Cameron Brink has declared for the upcoming WNBA draft. After a stellar college basketball career, the 22-year-old has decided it’s time to showcase her immaculate skills on the professional stage.

Following a difficult loss to USC in the Pac-12 Finals, Brink took to her social media handles to break this major announcement. Soon after, reactions have been pouring in which include some of her worthy competitors.

The 2021 NCAA champion penned down a heartfelt message to her Cardinal family on her official Instagram account.

Brink went on and said, “My four years at Stanford have been nothing short of life-changing. I cannot begin to express my love for everyone I’ve met and everything I’ve learned in Palo Alto. …

I am excited to announce that I will be declaring for the 2024 WNBA Draft. Although I am excited for that next chapter, we still have unfinished business and so much to accomplish in my final season at Stanford.”

Following this, her post was filled with congratulatory messages from some very prominent names. NCAA’s all-time highest scorer was among the first to express her elation on hearing the news. She posted, “Happy for u.” attached with a heart emoji.

Moreover, California Golden Bear’s junior guard Mia Mastrov manifested her friendship with Brink by writing, “das my bestfrand das my bestfrand.”

Further, the 6-4 senior received a motivational wish from UConn’s stalwart athlete Paige Bueckers. She commented, “Go be great.”

At the same time, from the WNBA world, Seattle Storm’s No.3 Nneka Ogwumike was ecstatic about her arrival. She posted a comment saying. “See you soon.”

Meanwhile, Stanford Cardinals’ head coach Tara VanDerveer was not too far behind in extending her acknowledgment of Brink’s achievements.

The Pac-12 Player of the Year soon got an applauding statement from her head coach Tara VanDerveer.

She went on and said, “Cam has had an exceptional college career and fully embraced what it means to be a Stanford student-athlete during her time on The Farm.

She worked hard to improve each and every year, helped us win a national championship, and has a lengthy list of very well-deserved awards and accomplishments. Simply put, she’ll go down as one of the best in program history.”

After winning the national championship as a fresher, Cameron Brink has not looked back.

Her illustrious NCAA career is further proof of the exceptional talent she has and how she impacted women’s college basketball.
